Use AFA's form to support Hallmark

Passing this along:

As many of you know, Hallmark recently began offering cards geared towards same sex unions/marriages. Of course, the AFA isn't happy about this, and has asked its members to send e-mails to against this. They've even provided a handy little form that can be personalized. Why not use the form to support Hallmark's move?

Pass it on!

Don't Use AFA's Form

Don't Use AFA's Form After another of the AFA's ActionAlert's awhile back I suggested using their form and was told it is a bad idea, because those who receive them probably don't open those emails and just file them and count them as AFA support emails. Thus, even if you change the email's message, it won't be read and it will appear as if the AFA has more support than it does. You should send your emails to them from your own email acct. The correct email address is (courtesy of AFA!):

sgronb3@hallmark.com

Donald J. Hall, Chairman
Hallmark Cards
2501 McGee Trafficway
Kansas City, MO 64108
Phone: 816-274-5111
or: 800-425-5627

or

There is also a comment secton at the bottom of Hallmark's web page or as someone on Pam's HouseBlend suggested by a Hallmark card and send it to Mr. Hall.

This happened with Proctor & Gamble during a 'Support Nuke" campaign and we don't want to give the AFA anymore help or appearance of support!!! The AFA uses their form to enlist you as a member and this will only inflate their membership numbers and we don't want to help this hate-filled organisation in any way!

There are also rumours that certain Hallmark stores are saying they will not carry these cards and those stores need to be boycotted!!!
