With Noah out of town, Luke gets involved in family issues and on Wednesday's show, he puts on his best suit and participates in his big brother Aaron's wedding to Ali.   Oddly enough, the last time Aaron and Luke were in a scene together was when Noah married Ameera.  And Aaron's marriage to Ali is just as doomed that green card wedding.

To recap, Ali, Aaron and Chris have been boring audiences for weeks with their dull and chemistry free romantic triangle.  Ali has decided to marry Aaron, but like any blushing bride, the night before her wedding, she sleeps with the man she's not going marry.  That's Chris, in case you haven't been paying attention.  Still though, Ali has decided to marry Aaron anyway.... and Chris is determined to stop her.

In other Snyder family news, Holden and Lily get caught up in the festive (?) events and start reminising about their last marriage.   And their recollections lead to a kiss.  And they aren't the only ones.  Jack and Carly get caught up on the romantic spirit and have their own make out session as well.

Does Ali marry Aaron?  Yes, she does.  Chris decides at the last minute to let Ali go without a fight.  Ali and Aaron go on to have a wedding night.  And if you think that Ali will find herself pregnant in a few weeks and not know who the father is, then you should be writing for this show.  Or maybe you shouldn't.

And Luke?  The boy dresses up real nice.

I can't believe they are

I can't believe they are going for such a LAME plot! Hasn't this same thing been done since 2008 B.C.? They can't think of anything better to waste/fill up time? Boy, that mushroom hunting is beginning to look like a stroke of genius!

That's the thing about day time.

while thay make for great drama, for the most part thay re-do storylines, and this one is totally a classic.

I've Been Watching This Soap For Over Twenty Years....

.... and I know soaps repeat plots.  They can't help but do so.  I can enjoy a story I've seen before.  The problem here is that it's the exact same story for these three characters that was told a few years back and the show seems to think that viewers won't notice if they simply don't mention any of that history, which they don't.    Because it might actually give the story more life if they did.  You'd think that Chris and Ali would talk about the baby they lost (to give the so called bond between them some depth) or that Aaron would say the reason why he hates Chris (instead of Aaron being depicted as a blindly jealous idiot) is because he's hurt Ali so many times by saying he loved her, but then betraying and hurting her over and over.   Beyond that, there's the fact that Ali and Chris are played by different actors, the characters of Ali and Chris are completely different (the previous Ali was a blonde, blubbly ditz and Chris was a straight arrow do gooder) and there is no chemistry between any of them.  Maybe if the story was portrayed by the same actors (or at least actors who had some real chemistry) and they used the history that they used years telling, the story might be interesting.  Instead the writers come off as sloppy and lazy.  Which they are.  And they don't seem to care if the prove it.
