Reset that kiss clock!  On Wednesday's show, Noah is back and he and Luke are romantically reunited.   There will be a kiss or two (and for those interested in such things, you can find a pic of the smooch HERE). But even more important is that during his time away, Noah came to a decision regarding he and Luke's future. What is that decision... and how does Luke respond?  Then, on Friday, all of Oakdale is in attendance when the Snyder family throw a fundraiser at Metro to save the family farm.  But will the festivities come to a halt when a not so dead Dusty crashes the event?

I don't know, but Luke's

I don't know, but Luke's hair cracks me up!

Me Too....

And I don't like the sideburns either.  Thing is, it's not the worst hairstyle he's ever had.... and you know next week it'll be completely different.

Oh, for sure. I don't know

Oh, for sure. I don't know anyone who changed their hair every other day -- except Luke. Maybe it's flying in the Oakdale Transporter that does it.

Way too platinum blond, but I am more disturbed about ....

a fundraiser to save the family farm? For real? In what universe did the writers decide to make proud Emma to sell the land for condo. development and now have to resort to raising funds as her thankless family does nothing to help her out of this hard-to-believe jam. Soon they'll have her holding up sings saying "Will bake for $" to keep her farm afloat.

I really do wish that Nuke would not be part of any of this as it seems like their inclusion always brings out the worst in stories that are not so great to start with.

Maybe Natalie will get locked in the cooler at Metro and she'll need rescuing ;-)

Utterly Ridiculous

... is this fundraiser plot point.  Makes no sense.  How could they possibly make enough money to buy back the farm?   We're talking millions of dollars.  And as you pointed out, why would they have to with Lucinda, Luke and Lily, all of whom were right there and have the money?  They don't offer to help out?     Do the writers really think the audience isn't aware of these things?  This is obviously such a plot device and where it will go will probably turn out to be ludicrious.

Maybe she should have charged rent?

After all, everyone in the family has either lived there or hangs out there more or less all of the time.  Maybe she should have been charging a daily rate?
Knickie's picture

Really! If she'd been

Really! If she'd been charging all these freeloaders room and board she wouldn't be in such a state. Get the girls out there with a lemonade stand -- or Luke and Noah can start turning tricks on the infamous "Oakdale Strip"! LOL!

Seriously, now THAT would be classic soap opera

Noah, unable to afford classes despite working at Java, decides to follow in his mother's footsteps and join the oldest profession--naturally, a secret he must keep from Luke...oh, the potential melodrama: lies, deceit, Noah is blackmailed, Luke thinks Noah is having an affair....

Oh, but wait, Noah doesn't even want to have sex with Luke....

But......

...... wouldn't that be the ultimate irony?  Noah is out there turning tricks, but refusing to give it up at home?  Maybe his twisted family background has made him see sex as 'dirty' and he wants to keep his relationship 'pure'.

I love it!  Someone call Chris Goutman!

Sorry fellas but Luke is actually the one who keeps giving

Noah the "do not proceed" past go! Everyone keep's blaming Noah but with the exception of Luke one-time ridiculous summer "outburst" about why they weren't having sex on grandma emma's kitchen (prompting Noah to reply with "Because I love you) it's been all about Noah's being rebuffed.

Noah said like a kajillon times (including right around the time when nu-lilly freaked out on the blonde lady in the drive way) that they should just go get an apartment so they can "be together"

But Luke's all "I can't because my little sister is crying". "I can't because my mother in the hospital AGAIN".  "I can't because my aunt's husband's in trouble AGAIN" "I can't because my father's got a roving eye/penis"

Luke's been all, I can't leave my family NOW (as if some how his being around all the time is actually keeping folks in line - Um, Ethan in Well?)

If Noah turns to turning tricks it won't just be for the cash. He's got to have some serious frustration going on (particularly since of the two, he's the only one who's actually had any sex).

I'm just saying, blame canada, blame it on the rain, blame it on grandma emma's anti-sex brainwashing but don't blame it on Noah.
