Matthew Mitcham wins the Don Award at the Sport Australia Hall of Fame Award night

Matthew won it jointly with Steve Hooker (pole vaulter) 

"The award is based on immortal cricketer Sir Donald Bradman's philosophy that sport is also about inspiration, sportsmanship, courage, dignity, integrity and modesty."
