I have a strong feeling that I am going to enjoy this storyline, although I am known to be an optimist who is crushed time and time again, especially by the good people of ATWT. Still, I have hope. (That's the correct attitude, right?!)
I am loving this little preview clip. There is just so much going on! Here is Luke: nervous and anxious (and somewhat flirty) with his old pal Kev. And oh man, Jake Silbermann has really begun to impress me. Here is a man whose grown in his work and talent. Noah was able to convey in some ten or so seconds a man who is both threatened and angered by his boyfriend's first crush. I get the impression Kevin might just be a douche bag, but I have to be honest, I only know of his story with Luke.
Did everyone get to watch the deleted bench scene from the reunion episode? It's magnificent and has all the love, affection and good acting to warrant its deletion from the episode. *sigh*
I loved that scene between Luke and Kevin. It was soooo awkward. I didn't notice Luke flirting with Kevin, but other viewers have commented on the same thing, so I guess I just didn't see that. Kevin's reaction to Luke's comment about all the time he and Luke used to spend in Lucinda's poolhouse had me laughing and viewers who watched back then know that's right out of the show's history of Luke and Kevin's relationship. Kevin hasn't changed a bit, or so it seems, right down to calling Luke 'Snyder'. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.....
Enjoyable Storyline, I think....
