As previously reported, Luke finds out that Brian has an ex-wife, Carolyn.  Well, next week he tracks her down... here are a couple of pix of that meeting that takes place on Monday, Dec. 8th.   Carolyn is played by Marcia McCabe, who has done many soaps including Search for Tomorrow and One Life To Live.  And in real life she's married to Christopher Goutman, who is the executive producer of ATWT.

Doesn't the last pic just scream "I'm going to murder my ex-husband and frame this sweet gay boy for the crime?"  Or is it only me?

Gee -- the producer's WIFE! How convenient!

Roman a Clef?

The character is the (former) wife of a closeted gay man.  Maybe Goutman's trying to tell us something by casting his own wife?

How strange?

How strange will it be when we find out that Luke's real name is Roman Clef? Not.

THE S/L

If even remotely true, it is simply ATWT following the AFA's (& probably P&G's too) mandate to keep Luke and Noah apart forEVER so that no consummated "gay" love is ever sanctioned on daytime soapdome.  And that is why I call ATWT the most anti-gay daytime drama on tv.

The Writing is on the wall

TIIC are going to keep these two apart indefinately. The Brian Wheatley saga is clearly another excuse to stop them from having sex or a reasonable facsimile. I wish they would be honest about it instead of claiming it's good drama. How much longer do we have to watch Luke pickle his kidney/ liver...whatever. The writers probably don't even know. They seem to be making everything up on the fly.

It's gotten beyond reasonable

ATWT is obviously in trouble.  It's losing it's audience and the writers don't seem to have a clue how to write a good sensible dramatic storyline.  It's really a sad sad ending to such a legendary daytime television program.
