ATWT -- Luke/Noah SPOILERS For The Week of Dec. 15th

By the way, the writers should know a little better about the appetites of elder people, grandmothers in this case. They are not so keen to demand sex as younger people. For them affection is more important than sex. And they can have their mind more excited about eating a tasty ice cream rather than having sex, if any at all. So for me, Lucinda being such a demanding kitty is not quite credible. Not imposible, but well...

...if Brian's character is suppose to be 40 then he really has missed all those boats!! His wife is 40 years older than him and his crush is 20 years younger! That's hysterically funny in a sick sort of way. But I agree, Lucinda would easily want to have sex with her young handsome and apparently devoted husband. Who wouldn't? 

I just flashed to a possible story line where Brian and Luke get together, and then Brian is in the exact same situation as Lucinda. Lusting for his young spouse while Luke is bored and interested in his old boyfriend or a new boy next door. It would be the worst kind of poetic justice. 

I say we take the warning labels off everything and let nature take it's course.

i wonder if brian will confess if he's gay as well. (and no, just because you have a thing for someone, that doesnt automatically make you straight or gay)

...and if he is gay, i really feel bad for the viewers, this being ATWT, the show will probably have another coming out story from a man who's been holding it in, yadda yadda.....he and luke will bond/possibly hook up (ew), yadda yadda.....

BORING

This is the kind of crap ATWT writers got nominated for by the Writers Guild. Ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for ATWT; no shark necessary.

Not to be indelicate but there's lots of sex Brian and Lucinda could be having (well into her 90s I might add) that would in no way endanger her stiches, hip or anything else.  It's not like we have to see it on the tv screen.

Either Brian just doesn't wanna (which may very well be the case given the givens) or he's got no moves in the bedroom.   Wonder what former Mrs. Wheatley would have to say?

In general folks in the US seem to have some very antiquated ideas about female sexual desire (ahem, sorry guys) older sexual desire and who should get to have sex with whom.

If single older folks weren't doing it big time, there wouldn't be nearly as much issues with STDs and such in retirement communities as there are.

Far as I'm concerned, you stop having sex when you die (which should be even more true on a Soap).  

You wanna have a go with someone 20 years older or younger?  Long as everyone is of legal age, I say, HAVE AT IT. See what happens. Take the plunge.  Coule be lovely.

Straight men have been depicted as taking up with pretty young things since the history of tv/fim with narry a sideward glance. 

It's only when women or gay men get intergenerational with their dating that everyone gets their knickers in a knot over propriety and appearances.

But not Luke and Brian. NEVER Luke and Brian. Not Ever.

Stone me, cuss me, call me naive but there is just nothing right about that!

Love Laurence Lau, love him and Van acting together, but he'd better keep his married, almost-kinda-sorta-legally grandpaws off of Luke.

I want NUKE back together.  Period.

It's just a waste of poor Jake whom I adore.  This is only his second real regular acting.  He should get to be more integrated into the show and get some real dialogue and storylines to tackle. He shoud get some scenes with other folks (I mean they have to ship Maddie into town just so he has someone to talk to that isn't a Snyder)

Perhaps if Luke and Noah could get to have some scenes in a room together, alone, that didn't involve accusations and alcohol, the writers of ATWT might actually be able to bring them back together with some simblance of continuity and sense.

Whatever the writers do, however they make it happen though, Back Together NUKE Should Go.

And I am Unanimous in That! 

 P.S. And out of tremendous respect for my gay breathern and the sanctity of all that is A.E. (and i'm not making fun even a little bit) I will vow to never, ever  bring up the wherefores and hows of sex with women ever again on this site.  ;)  I have plenty of other lezzie virtual and actual places for that kind of talk.

Frankly, I think Luke and Brian as a couple either in the forbidden love or the sleazy affair sense would rock. It would be very much the typical soap obstacle to the OTP couple of Nuke. Couples typically break up and get involved with other people to add to the complications and I'd love to see them treat Nuke the same way.  I was afraid they'd never go there, but having it be Brian instead of some random hot guy, makes it deliciously...well soapy.

As for the almost incest thing, well let's not forget that Luke's father is his mother's uncle. Among the many, many other convoluted familial relationships in their family. Almost incest is one of the most prevalent aspects of soap life

I hoped Brian would hook up with Luke well before the first kiss.  I'm sooo happy that the writers made Brian more sympatheic and that Laurence (Larry?) Lau is such a good actor to pull off some of that material.  That means that the hook up will happen soon (or as soon as can be on a soap schedule).

I've come to terms with Brian and Luke being together only long enough for Lucinda to catch them in bed together, but if that's all I'll get I'll take it.  Luke can work it out with Noah later.
