Who else is disgusted by comic books making villains out to be gay?

 Denny O'Neil made the Joker out to be gay in the 1970s and used hidden gay sexual references in that Comics Code Authority era.  (Joker's victims were shown being asphixiated, sucking on phallic symbols, and almost being eaten--granted by sharks.  They were also caricatures of gay men.  Ironically, Batman caught the Joker when the villain slipped on an oil slick on the beach.  Lubrication was not the Horrible Harlequin's friend.)

Superman's evil counterpart Ultra-Man was made out to be a bisexual, who was being blackmailed by Owl-Man's, Batman's vicious doppelganger.

The Pied Piper, Flash's sonic foe, turned out to be gay, though he did reform, but who knows how long that will last?

Obsidian, the golden age Green Lantern's son, went crazy as a villain, but he was released and came out.  He now is having a relationship with Damon, Manhunter's personal assistant.

Anyone else having a problem with this situation?
