The Times of Harvey Milk free on Hulu

I love the movie and TV website Hulu.  You can see so many films and shows for free.  When Hulu first premiered, AfterElton did an article asking what gay entertainment the show offered.  The pickings were and are pretty slim.

That changed over this weekend when Hulu unvieled The Times of Harvey Milk on their site.  The movies is one of the best documentaries ever made (won an Oscar and everything).  I think Gus Van Sant's Milk is an amazing movie and everyone should go see it, but if it is not playing in your area yet you can always check out the documentary which first introduced the rest of the country to the gay civil rights hero.

I highly recommend this film.  Even if you have never liked a documentary in your life, I think you will like this one.  It is never slow or boring, and it never feels like you are watching it just for its educational value.  I guarantee you will get emotionally invested in the film.
