where to find a long-term male partner?

Hi guys,

I'm in my late thirties and recently broke up with my partner. I want to get back onto the scene, but not sure where I should go. I know I'm not old by any means, but I still find the thought of going to bars and hunting out potentials a little offputting.

Where would be a good place for someone like me to go to get back into the dating scene?
