The last thing I need is to spend more time in front of this darned computer, but this CS story is great! Well acted and well written, it's very gripping. I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but trust me, I will!
Having watched the whole thing now, I found it well written and well acted. It's a shame that Karl and Todd didn't work it out in the end, though there are times I was troubled by Karl's constant pursuit of Todd when I felt that he should lay off and let Todd live his life. However, as we didn't see the entire thing, we can't get a full picture of what went on. But there was wonderful chemistry between the actors and there were many scenes that were hot without so much as a kiss. May we get that kind of rich drama and sparks on ATWT when Luke and Noah get together.
I thought I recognized the actor who played Todd and I did some digging and found out he did a couple of episodes of Dr. Who awhile back. I recall loving the actor and the character he played.
Unfortunately for the moment, the actor doesn't seem to be plying his trade but is working in a bar between gigs. The British press made a big deal of it, but it seems like it's part of an actor's life to me.
I must say, it was very well written and done with great sensitivity. I really felt sorry for Todd, watching him struggle with his sexuality. I wish all mothers could be like his, yes she was upset at the news(like all mothers are at first), but then learned to accept it. I wish we could get Coronation Street in America. We could learn alot from The soaps from England. They really know how to tell compelling stories.
The whole gay storyline is on youtube. I'm in Canada but never watch this soap (I remember my mother watching it when I was five-man- has it changed!) But I watched all the stuff on youtube. Had I known it was on, I would have watched it on tv 3 years ago.
Janet.
Grr!

Bruno Langley
played Todd Grimshaw on Corrie. I was living in the UK at the time this storyline played out and I was watching every eps with my housemates.
Bruno did the Dr. Who eps after he finished on Corrie.
I was out with some mates one Saturday night in Soho and ran into him at Groucho's. He's done more live theatre than film/tv since then.
