Victory for all Delawareans who believe in human rights! The Governor has signed the Delaware sexual orientation Civil Rights bill into law, which covers housing, employment, public works contracting, insurance, and public accommodations. The new law went into effect immediately.

So exciting!
As someone who was discriminated against in Delaware by a wedding vendor who decided to say that my partner and I were representative of something against their "moral convictions" in writing after we simply asked for an overview and pricing of their services. "We do believe it is critical to our children and society to preserve the institution of marriage to one man and one woman." Then asked us to understand. We made sure to email them and make sure they were aware of this bill passing just yesterday and how much money they missed out on. ;-)
