ANTM: Drag Queens steal the show

Last week's photo shoot on America's Next Top Model turned out to be quite controversial. Some women's groups felt the Crime Scene themed photos sexualized and glorified violence against women. Personally, I didn't get that when I was watching, but I can definitely see their point. The show (or CW) took their complaints seriously enough that they pulled the pics from their website.

This week, the shoot was much more lighthearted, with the girls dressing up as guys and a group of drag queens brought in to be the girls. The drag queens were fiercer than the model wannabes, which if you know any drag queens you probably could have predicted. They showed up several of the real girls.

There was plenty of drama, too, with Renee's bitchery reaching new record heights, and Diana continuing to lack personality. This was Natasha's week to shine, though, and the photo shoot was all about her K-Fed impression. She was awesome!

That's Brittany's Outdoorsy Couple above. See the rest of the judging panel photos after the jump, then read the recap!

What did you think of the shoot this week? Did they send the right girl home?

Last week

CW may have pulled the photos, but not before MANY bloggers (including myself) grabbed and posted them. They were in bad taste, yes, but all the same, it was interesting work from a photographic standpoint, at least in my opinion. This week was kinda meh for me.
