Spring is in the air, bringing with it pollen, mold, spores, and television. I swear -- look it up. Here are our gay television picks for Tuesday, April 10th.
iVillage Live (Syndicated) Check local listings
This is one weird talk show. But today everyone's favorite Angel Jaclyn Smith will be on to talk about her new Bravo reality show, Shear Genius. I don't know that a hairdresser competition will be able to hold my attention for a whole season (check out the avatar: NO HAIR), but I would seriously listen to Smith read the instructions for the 1040 long form (with Schedules A and C).
The View (ABC) 11:00AM EDT
Niles himself, David Hyde Pierce, will be joining the gals, likely to speak about his new Broadway show, Curtains. I'm just going to make a wild guess here and say that Pierce will not be speaking about his oft-speculated-upon sexuality.
NCIS (CBS) 8:00PM EDT
Alpha Primetime Gay Teen Wilson Cruz (who played Ricky on the groundbreaking My So-Called Life) guest stars on this show, which I've never heard of and wouldn't be able to pick out of a CSI/SVU/JAG lineup. Yes, I know it's doing quite well and is one of the year's surprise hits, but I can't be -- what? It's got Mark Harmon?! Get outta my way!!
Work Out (Bravo) 10:00PM EDT
Tonight's episode of Bravo's Tricep Opera deals in part with the sudden hospitalization of gay trainer Doug Blasdell, who would sadly later pass away due to complications. It will hopefully provide some closure for Doug's many fans. Check out this previous post for more details.
