Missed opportunity for Oscar broadcast- do we not count on the Left Coast?

Is it too much to ask for a LiveBlog on the Oscars?  It's one of the times (like the Super Bowl) when there is no time zone difference.  I think it's East Coast snobbery, I fear.  We here have to suffer waiting to watch ATWT and OLTL and can't participate.  And then there are those legions of wonderful peeps in between.

And there is NPH glorious in his sequin jacket and  dazzling talent.  What a missed opportunity.
