Queerview television guide for April 19th

Talk show junkies take note: a few great, gay-friendly guests are popping up on daytime TV today.

The Ellen Degeneres Show (Syndicated) Check local listings
Neil Patrick Harris swings by (not swings bi, mind you) to chat with Ellen and compare coming-out battle wounds. Ellen's site notes that this is a pretty in-depth interview about Harris' decision to come out publicly, and some are seeing it (along with his guest stint on Regis and Kelly last month) as a continued bid for his own show. Considering the dearth of gay men on daytime TV, I say "get this man a couch!". For a sneak pick of the chat, head to Ellen's homepage.

Rachel Ray (Syndicated) Check local listings
Mark Indelicato (Ugly Betty's fabulous Broadway-belting Justin) guests today on Ray's rather bizarre talk show, which to me always seems kind of like a fever dream because of its loose format. I'm hoping that there's a musical number and a recipe involving Cream of Mushroom Soup.

Ugly Betty (ABC) 8:00PM EDT
Do we even need to recommend this one anymore? The gayest show on the air (and one of the best) tonight welcomes out gay actor Leslie Jordan (Will & Grace) as a tell-all journalist who gets a hold of the diaries of the late (?) Fey and starts hounding the Meade family.
