So You Think You Can Dance

This show continues to have an issue with effeminate gay men (just ask EJ Sierra - I hope this site can interview him). Anyway...one of the people eliminated right before the top 20 were chosen was Anthony Bryant. Anthony was in the first season auditions and he danced with a streamer in his hand. He was a lyrical dancer. They told him he was too effeminate. He was asked to perform on the finale. He came back this season but was never, ever shown.

The show also seems so manipulated this season, even more than in the past. It's kind of hard to watch when they try so hard to make fans hate someone.

Was he the black effeminate

Was he the black effeminate slightly overweight guy able to do the split who cut in the first episodes? Because I remember being SO pissed that he was cut and they were mean to him(Gosh what a surprise *rolleyes*). Because after that they let people through who were no way better than him like the "dancer" with the mask on his face.

Last Season

Last season the winner Benji and runner-up Travis, whom I think is gay, both had effeminate qualities. As did top 10 finalists Ryan and Ben. This year Travis's brother Danny Tidwell, who is also a bit effeminate, is competing and I hear he is really good. He's made it into the top 20.

ETA: The guy wearing the mask was only asked back for the choreography portion of those auditions. I think the judges made that decision for their own amusement. They cut him immediately.

True but based on his

True but based on his dancing, E.J. should have been asked to do the choreography.
