Hex's Leon and Tom and their hot kiss!

Did any of you guys see last night’s episode of Hex on BBC America? Tom and Leon had a hot man on man kiss. For those that follow the show, Tom is Leon’s friend and it was revealed that Tom is gay and has a crush on Leon. In last night’s episode, Thelma (the lesbian ghost) went to Tom’s room to peek into his dreams and see what is his secret desire. So he got into bed and when he fell asleep he had a dream he was laying in a sunny meadow under a tree being fed strawberries. A hand come in from the side of the screen and places a berry into his mouth and it’s revealed that it’s Leon feeding him the berry. Then Leon leans over and they start making out. Not American TV making out…British TV making out. It was hot.

I realize this show is behind next tot he series run in the UK, but this was unexpected to me. I had no idea this was doing to happen and it was a pleasant surprise. I didn't get to watch the whole episode so I'm not sure if there was more action in it or not. I'll be finishing it tonight.

Catch it if you can. Can't find it on YouTube.

Have you met my Hex?

I saw it and thought it made complete sense in the context of the story arc though there was NO warning or tease. The episode is titled "Seven Deadly Sins" and (according to the Comcast schedule here in Portland OR) will be rebroadcast at least three times on Saturday, July 21, starting at 9 AM PDT.

The take-your-breath-away , unexpected Splendor in the Grass dream sequence completely overshadowed the disastrous outcome of the (ghost) lesbian lovers. I've really enjoyed this very dark and very sexually grownup three season series from BBC but I'll admit I'm looking forward to the series' final episode on Saturday.

If you decide to check out the first season on DVD, be prepared to pause, freeze, and replay the opening minutes as you share peek through a vent into the boys' locker room at the succulent body of Joseph Morgan... a body you will see again later in the series.

Does Hex get its groove back?

I watched it when it first debuted, but found myself falling asleep during episodes soon after Ella first arrived. Does the show pick up afterwards? Is it like Mile High, where the second season changes direction midway through and suddenly improves?

Hex's Leon

It was a dream seeing Leon's character engaged in a boy boy kiss.  I hope that Jamie Davis (Leon) who has only guest starred in british tv shows can move on to some really good roles and show a positive attitude toward the lifestyle.  He had a brief stunt on Footballer's Wives.  He's a very goodlooking guy - even better looking than some of our boys on screen but he needs to hone in on his acting skills.  Hex was a decent "Supernatural Saturday" flick.  Started with more spook than it has ended with.

Leon and Tom's ghost - very satisfying closure

This past Saturday they showed the season finale of HEX on BBC America and I was happy they had a "closure" scene between Tom and Leon. I'm about to tell a spoiler so if you haven't seen the past two episodes stop reading now.

On the previous weeks episode it was revealed that Tom was gay and in love with Leon, Malachi tried to convert Tom but was unable to get him to switch to the dark side, Malachi got Tom drunk and when he passed out he drew the "mark of Malachi" on his neck, Leon saw the mark on Tom's neck and he killed him thinking he had switched.

I was hoping that the story didn't end there, I wanted to see Leon's reaction when he learned that he killed Tom by accident and I wasn't dissapointed.

In last Saturday's episode Leon is told what he did Tom and he is upset about it. Later he goes to Tom's graveside to lay flowers and the ghost of Tom is there and they have a chat. It's a nice chat and they say a few things they never got a chance to say when Tom was alive, nothing too major, Leon was wondering why he never said anything and he knew the answer already...he'd be a total git about it. Then Tom asked Leon to write his mom every few months because Tom had talked about Leon so much. Leon agreed but made sure she understood the level of their freindship and he said she did, she didn't think they were lovers but just roommates.

I loved it! I'm so glad they didn't just blow the Tom story aside. Plus, there's always a chance the ghost of Tom will appear again.

Are you F'in serious??!!??

There's no chance they'll decide to do one more season? I thought British TV did their shows in runs and decide at the end, sometimes a year or so later, to continue them.

This news blows.
