New Levi's 501 Ad

Anybody else notice the new Levi's 501 ads with the hot kid pulling on his pants while the walls around him fall away and world outside erupts? I'd seen it several times with the cute chick in the phone booth giving him the eye and then walking away with him, both their butts fitting very nicely into their jeans. OK, so what's in it for us, you ask?

Well, last night I saw the same ad except that the hotty in the phone booth was a guy. It was exactly the same ad except that the object of his excitement attention had changed sexes. And I'm still not sure it wasn't the same pair of butts walking away in both ads. It's a hoot! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find it on YouTube yet

It got me thinking about how much more comfortable the ad industry and their clients have gotten with "crossovers" since Ikea made the Fundies nuts a decade or so ago. One more place where things have gotten better.

Anybody else see it? Any comments? Would anybody else like to see Lyle or one of the flying monkeys do a piece on the evolution of mainstream marketing reaching out to our community?
