As shown in this
thread, YouTube has censored/restricted the clip that shows Luke and Noah kissing for 5 seconds. Meanwhile there are countless examples of clips on YouTube where 15-year-olds are posting video responses to popular gay v-bloggers where they call people faggot and cocksuckers. No matter how many times you flag it or other people say they flagged it it never gets restricted. Total BULL$HIT! I've written GLAAD and I'm sure they won't do crap about it.

Not Surprised
Just goes to show you that homophobia is alive and well in cyberspace. Guess they thought that seeing two guys kissing might be too much for impressionable minds. Maybe somebody thinks it will "convert" "sexually confused" teenagers. The only thing I found confusing as a teenager was why everybody thought same-sex attraction was such a terrible thing.
The result of showing same-sex love in a positive light is to encourage the development of emotionally healthy gay people instead of f***ed up neurotic ones like I was. Now why would we want that?

Article on homophobia on YouTube
FYI We did an article about this issue on AfterEllen.com back in January, because the same double-standard has been happening to videos on YouTube that feature lesbian content. Here's the response we got from YouTube:
YouTube's marketing manager, Jenny Nielson, did provide a brief written statement in response to our queries. With regard to abusive flagging, she wrote: “The fact is we don't control the content on our site. Our community decides what content rises up, and also flags content that is inappropriate. Once the content is flagged, we review the video and remove it if it violates our terms of use.” Nielson did not comment on the videos that remain on the site while flagged as inappropriate.
AfterEllen's ladies are on the ball...
I appreciate your frustration that not
Just poking fun at AE's reputation :)
Okay, I'll go ahead and cancel my hit on you plus
You Tube Issues are Consistent...?
If you recall, following the success and popularity of the "Forever blue" episode from Cold Case, You Tube blocked that off as well. So what if a viewer calls that offensive. Everything offends someone. You Tube has a review process that should override a simple kissing scene - and one that does not breach the 13 second FCC rule!
I think the youtube vidoe of the cat smacking the small child on the head with its paws was offensive. Should I make a complaint and get an otherwise cute video removed you You Tude? We may have to find other replay sources and just quit relying on You Boob for media captures.
