Hi guys,
All of you who have been anticipating the start of the John Paul & Craig "courtship" on the BBC America repeats of Hollyoaks don't have to wait much longer. The episodes up right now mark the beginning of the saga. In Hollyoaks it's just after the new year 2007 right now. Events start to happen this week with the first big twist happening around the start of February. Check it out at http://bbcamerica.com/content/232/webcasts.jsp. If a lot of people watch, let's hope they keep releasing new episodes online. A new one comes out every weekday.

BBCA and Hollyoaks - They are playing with us.
Hi Chris,
The episodes on right now are where the teacher is still dating the punk and he's yet to press charges against her...they aired this already and we're well into the repeat airings. When you say this marks the beginning of the saga you'rerefereing to them even becoming friends right? Because I watched the whole first run into the repeats on BBCA and it never really got into anything relationship wise with the JP/Craig. Also, do they plan to actually show it all the way through or are they gonna stop after a few weeks and repeat again? Did we ever find out why they decided to even repeat these last few weeks?
This whole situation is annoying...not to mention the time it's being shown.
They're showing "new" episodes online
It's all been pretty interesting to watch since we know where it's going. It's clear the Hollyoaks team knew where they were going with this storyline when JP started dating Hanna (or just after, at first it seemed like a regular teen romance, only for it to quickly become clear that JP wasn't into the relationship). I'm quite curious to what British viewers were thinking at the time -- at what point they figured out what was going on with JP. (Kinda like I remember wondering if Luke Snyder were gay or if I was just reading too much into it a few years ago on ATWT.)
On a related note the Max/OB friendship is so full of HoYay it's amazing. A couple weeks ago they uploaded the Christmas episodes where Clare tries to kill Max in an isolated vacation cottage. OB comes running to his rescue just in time and the music (which, I understand, was different in the original broadcast, BBCA changed it to something they'd have to pay less royalties on) sounds like something out of an old fashioned movie where the hero saves his damsel. Oh, I thought...
I saw an old interview with
I saw an old interview with James Sutton (JP) on YouTube where he mentioned that he was made aware that JP is gay when he first auditioned. I'm presuming they also let him know about JP's feelings for Craig as well. See it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-Wd-zmqaTs
If you're interested, one of my fav Hollyoaks YouTubers crumpetsandjam has a playlist of clips called JP & Craig from the Start:

If you want the full
If you want the full storyline there's a website which has links to the whole storyline, right up to date on youtube -

Can't get my head around what's going on
BBC America are doing my head in. First they pulled HollyOaks and placed it at 3:00am at night, Eastern time. Then, instead of continuing with new eps went into repeats. Then they announced they would be putting current episodes online, which isn't even working to well for me since the eps keep buffering and it's not very clear. I'm so pissed.
I'm wondering...when the current repeat eps end on TV, will they then start showing the online eps? I don't know why in the world they just didn't continue on the TV with new eps instead of repeats. I just don't understand what's going on since no real explanation was ever given. I would much rather watch HollyOaks on TV than online.
At the moment online the JP/Craig storyline is at the stage where Hannah thinks John Paul fancies Sarah. Sure i've followed the storyline on Youtube, but its so great to watch it unfold in its natural state throughout the entire episodes. And there is also the Claire/Max and Hannah/Anorexia storylines, which are also really great. I hope BBC America continues these storylines to their conclusion on TV.
James Sutton auditioned specifically just over a year ago for the role of John Paul, and thank God he got hired, he's put in a great performance.
Friday (Oct 26) Online Episode #105
I was able to watch Friday's webisode of Hollyoaks and it was the episode that JP tells Craig that he believes Sarah isn't good enough for him because JP wants to be with Craig and doesn't want Sarah to be with him. Excellent episode, very well played, although, Craig just sort of drives me a little nuts sometimes. He's so oblivious...
