Alexandra Chando (Maddie Coleman) has been let go from "As the World Turns." The reason being no story-lines available for her character.

Apparently she's leaving town and going to another college. Most likely to Connecticut, attending Wesleyan, which is good for Maddie.

There were rumors that her original love interest Casey would be returning to town. Those have been proven false.

Her last air date is said to be October 26.

She was a great character and did extremely well in her two years on ATWT and even acquired an Emmy nod.

Alexandra and Maddie both are sweet girls, and we'll never forget her time with the Luke and Noah story.

I wish Alexandra all the best and hope only for the best in her future. :)
