Hotel Babylon

Are there any Hotel Babylon fans out there?  I find it truly brilliant and the best show on BBC America currently.  Awesome cast, great chemistry, titilating and provocative plot, brilliant acting, just an all round exciting series!

If you're not watching then you're missing out.  Tune in on BBC America every Wednesday @ 8pm for a rerun of the previous week's episode and at 9pm for the week's current new episode.

and since the gay guy didn't have much to do, I decided not to watch since there was so much else for me to follow. Any episodes in particular you recommend?

Season 2 Episode 1.  Where there was the rival between Hotel Babylon and The Burlington.  How fun and funny it was when all of the guys returned through the front door wearing nothing but underpants.  Last night's episode (Season 2 Ep. 2) I enoyed more than usual as well based on the way the pay-back was handled.

I only saw the last 2 episodes of Season 1 and I quite happened upon it by accident but was instantly drawn to it based on just the teasers/promos.  I haven't regretted tuning in at all and don't plan to miss neer a one episode.  BBC America is a channel I usually just skip over when channel surfing but I was somewhat bored with the other main-stream channels and decided to try something new and I am glad that I did.  There are some pretty decent shows on the channel.  I'm not much of a TV watcher though and my interests usually lie in police/detective.... type viewing.

As for the only gay guy not having much of a part to play, I can certainly agree with that, I'm hoping that in time that will be rectified though.  At the same time, the show itself (despite the minimal role of the only gay) is pretty good on other levels.

Been watching Babylon for both seasons. You've missed one...not only is Ben, the receptionist gay, but James the Host of the restaurant is as well. Hints abound. Second season eps 2 was very good, lots of possibilities among the crew for hook ups.

I think the show is great, not life-changing but very entertaining. I must admit that Max Beesley is the main reason I tuned in. There was an episode where Craig Kelly (Vince QAF UK) guest starred and to have the two of them on screen was yummy. I think their voices are quite similar. BBC One (UK) are starting a new series next week so that's something to look forward to.
