New Music Monday! Giving You Your Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert Fix!I know, I know — finally some Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga news! Phew!
Okay, fine. It’s not like it’s breaking news or anything, but with a week to go before their albums drop, we’ve collected all the Lambert and GaGa updates and other interesting tidbits you’ve been jonesing for! First up, is Mr. Lambert. Now that the title track and lead single for his new album, For Your Entertainment has been released, it’s time to shoot the music video! And said video was shot this past weekend at the Alexandria Hotel in Los Angeles with director Ray Kay, the mastermind behind Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” video. So let’s see, a turn of the century restored hotel, a legendary music video director and Adam Lambert … yeah, I don’t think it’ll be very good either. In any case, we may get a glimpse of what the video will look like when Adam performs “For Your Entertainment” at the American Music Awards on November 22nd.
As for the rest of the songs, a few more tracks have been released for immediate download if you buy the collector’s edition of the album from adamofficial.com. The songs include “Whataya Want From Me” written by Pink and “Master Plan” which I’m sure you’re going to love. Why? Well, take a look at some of the lyrics:
And that’s not the only song that has some awesome, in-your-face lyrics. “Strut” which was co-written by Adam and Kara Dioguardi contains the line "Open your mouth and open it wide: Let the freedom begin” and the Lady Gaga penned “Fever” opens with "There he goes, my baby walks so slow, sexual tic-tac-toe." Um, yeah. Not your typical Idol fare. And speaking of Lady Gaga … Let’s take care of some simple business first. If you have not seen the video for her newest single, “Bad Romance,” shame on you. Do yourself a favor and watch it here. Now for something equally "shocking", Lady Gaga is promoting her new album by appearing on … Gossip Girl? That’s right. The episode airs tonight and is appropriately titled “The Last Days of Disco Stick.” You can catch a sneak peek over at People.com. If you’re ready for more Gaga, the music video for the Beyonce and Lady Gaga collaboration “Video Phone” is set to debut on November 17th.
