Pic Post! NOH8 Gallery

Back in November when California's Proposition 8 passed, photographer Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley came up with the NOH8 (pronounced "no hate") campaign. Since then, Bouska has taken well over a thousand photographic portraits for the series, each featuring the signature look of duct tape covering the subject's mouth, white clothing and a white background, and the NOH8 logo painted on the subject's cheek.

For the first time, images from the NOH8 campaign are physically taking to the road for a gallery exhibition in Texas. The Dallas NOH8 Campaign exhibit was organized by and as part of Dallas Pride 2009, and Bouska's photographs will be on display at Dallas' ilume Gallery Space September 19-26, 2009.

A number of celebrities have participated in this ongoing campaign. What follows are some of our favorite images from the series to date. You can find more of Bouska's NOH8 portraits at noh8campaign.com
