"Desperate Housewives" (6.21) Mini-Cap: "A Little Night Music"

Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been. Lives in a dream. Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door. Who is it for?

John Barrowman has two great scenes at the beginning and end of last night's Desperate Housewives, but in between there was a whole lot of nuttiness going on.

Susan and Gabrielle teamed up for a hare-brained scheme against their husbands, but they were more like two Ethels in search of a Lucy. It involved $50,000, Mike's manhood, an inherited piano, Susan's breasts, and a healthy dose of "wacky misunderstanding," which would have been too silly for Three's Company ... or even Three's A Crowd. But probably not We Got It Made.

I'll have you know these put my doctor's kids through college!

Meanwhile, Lynette is starting to have second thoughts about inviting a psychotic strangler to live in her house. Crazy Eddie is perfectly stable ... until someone raises his voice or looks sideways at Lynette, then he ... has issues.

Come to Crazy Eddie's, where our faces are ... insaaaane!

Lynette first begins to realize he's a little off when he tackles and starts pummeling Porter for calling her a bitch, followed by a near eruption when Tom comes home and angrily asks "why isn't there a plate with tinfoil?" Um, because Eddie needed a new hat? Poor Lynette has to remind Eddie to use his indoor insanity.
