AE: Give us something
political: what’s your take on the feminist versus race issue between Hillary
and Barack?
MC: They are both
good and I don’t know why it would come down to that. Both of them are really
strong, I think I probably will end up voting for Barack because I love his
energy and hope that he brings. But I also love Hillary Clinton because she has
already been President for eight years.
AE: Liam, of the
famous YouTube video “Shoes” is opening for you on the Beautiful tour.
MC: It’s so
exciting, I love him! He’s my little baby doll. I am so happy to have him on
the road. Also for a couple of the dates, Ian Harvie who is a transgender
comedian is going to open.
AE: Sounds great!
What do you hope the gay community takes from Beautiful?
MC: Well I hope
that they learn to feel beautiful, because I think it is hard for a lot of gay
men to feel that way with the “body ideal” out there. It’s a crazy image that
is hard to obtain. Rather than work so hard on that, I think gay men should
just feel good about themselves for who they are. Actually, gay mean should
simply be more like bears, that’s my thing. I love bears and I wish more gay
men would aspire to be one.

Margaret Cho came to my little town for the Assassin Tour
During that bastard Bush's first term, Margaret Cho came to my little college town here in Huntington, WV. Imagine my delight as she referred to him as a "piece of sh*t president". This state voted for Bush both times and last week the Republican party here endorsed Huckabee. So you can imagine what some of the older locals thought. But most of the college students cheered.
She told one story about her persimmon diet (I think) which ended in her having a smelly accident in her car. I laughed so hard I hit my head on the back of the seat in front of me.
The next day a student complained that Margaret was berating "our presdient". I told him, "No, she was berating your president, not mine. He's not my president".
I love Margaret Cho.
Don't trouble yourself Doctor -- I'm a celebrity, I'll write my own prescription.
Margaret Cho appears in Viral "No on Prop 8" Video
Last week, three Los Angeles based Penn alumni decided to take action against Proposition 8 by creating 4 very viral PSAs against this proposition including the talents of Margaret Cho and Molly Ringwald.
Cho is great in this video!
Since they debuted these videos, they have gotten over a million hits on Perez Hilton, Huffington Post, People.com, and E! Online. Yesterday, Wolf Blitzer showed one of them on CNN. Because of the response, they're already deep into pre-production on more.
