Interview with "Make Me A Supermodel"’s Ronnie Kroell
AE: You're also very politically involved and are supporting Hillary
Clinton. What made you pick her? Secondly, she's focusing on health care and rescinding Bush's veto on legislation allowing stem cell research. My grandmother Carmella has macular degeneration, and it's a type that isn't curable at this point in time, but has the potential to be if this veto was lifted and doctors could continue stem cell research. Moreover, I think she's a strong candidate. I don't look at the fact that she's a woman, but that she has eight years in the White House and her record speaks for itself. It's time for change. America needs a president who has a positive attitude, one who is inclusive, and stops acting unilaterally and realizes that there are other countries and leaders in this world that we need to be cooperating with.
AE: You said in the special you'd like to be president one day. Isn't
this a rather unusual route to becoming president? But the biggest part of my desire to be president is to look after and protect American's rights. My diversity work allows me to come in contact with myriad groups of individuals, and it's so important to me to understand them. A lot of people look at me and say, "What's this white boy going to do for us? Who is this guy and how does he really understand us?" The thing that sets me apart from many other people is that I question, I want to know what it's like to be an advocate for individuals and communities. I have a genuine desire. I enjoy learning about other cultures and people. The best thing I've been able to do in life is travel, being put in a place where I have to be humble and learn about someone's culture. I think as Americans we take a lot for granted, and I enjoy learning about other cultures in that way.
AE: Thanks for talking to us and good luck! We'll be rooting for you and
following the show.
Make Me a Supermodel airs on Bravo Thursday nights at 10 P.M.

I Heart Ronnie

"And I was superhappy the show didn't go right into "Hey, I'm gay." but rather just showed him talking about his exboyfriend."
"Whereas with the other gay guy, they were like "So hay I'm like gay and stuff." right off the bat. Which was kinda weird."
What's the difference? Either way, you know that they're gay.
Perhaps you give Ronnie a pass b/c he fits the traditional notion of what it is to be "attractive" (i.e., white guy w/ blond hair)?
Ronnie seems like a nice guy, but he's also perpetuating the stereotype/fear that gay men want to get into straight men's pants.
I love Ronnie already! He
I love Ronnie already! He seems so smart and he's adorable as well so that's a plus.
Awesome interview, Josh.
Great Interview Josh
you get all the tough ones (Lol)! He seems like a very mature and intelligent guy. I can't believe anybody would be silly enough to throw away a relationship with him. That one boyfriend, yikes! I was especially interested to hear that he had been hit by a car recently. I can relate to that. The number of times I have been nearly hit by inattentive drivers just walking to and from work, it is truly scary.
Good for him for supporting Hillary Clinton. She is not exactly warm and fuzzy, but I don't care I want somebody as US President that will actually try and improve things and not simply appeal to people's fears and prejudices.
Cheers

Yup, good interview
Great Interview

Ronnie should win
Ronnie Roxx!
After watching the episode yesterday (about the snow photoshoot), i realised how good Ronnie was. He was down-to-earth, smart, honest and well-mannered. Ben really really suprised me with his harsh words and actions. I thought he was a nice man. He sarcastically said that ronnie and casey are women. He also kept saying Casey is gay. Furthermore, he aslo crushed the other team's snow tower . Ho, he said they were making snow dick. I admire the way Ronnie confronted him after that. Ronnie was so sincere....it makes my heart melt. As a true friend to be, Ronnie had spoke out from his heart to express his frustration because he felt taken aback by Ben's homophobic comments, although it wasn't directed to him. Ben apologized, and Ronnie forgiven him.Its good to see the two good friends embracing after everything was cleared.
Ronnie, I salute you!!!
You are da best!!!
