There’s a rule that therapists can’t date their clients, but there’s no rule that pop culture journalists can’t date the subjects of their celebrity profiles. That’s good news for Dumenco, a writer for Details, New York, and Advertising Age, who met his partner, former Queer as Folk star Randy Harrison, while doing — what else? — a celebrity interview.

The couple, together since 2002, now live in Brooklyn. But perhaps Harrison should be worried: Dumenco recently completed a celebrity interview with Zac Efron.

[Editor's Note: Harrison and Dumenco have reportedly broken up. No word on whether Zac was the reason why!] 

Jamie Herbert (Husband of Alec Mapa)

Herbert recently married his partner, Ugly Betty star Alec Mapa, in California. But like Tom Ford and Richard Buckley, the couple have found themselves at odds over the possibility of children.

“Last year we were on the Rosie [Family] Cruise and we attended all the foster adopt seminars,” Mapa, 43, told Gay.com. “We talked to Rosie and she was like, ‘The minute you decide to adopt, call me.' The lesbians were practically throwing kids into our arms. We came back and my husband clearly said, you know, ‘I'm not ready, stop talking about it, I'm freaking out.' He had a total panic attack about it, so, my therapist told me to back off, and I did. And now that I've backed off completely, my husband now wants to start talking about it again. Which just tells me, that you know, he just wants it to be his idea.”

Jörn Weisbrodt (Partner of Rufus Wainwright)

Everyone seems to agree: Rufus Wainwright, 35, is a lot to handle. Fortunately, the singer has found someone up to the challenge in the form of Weisbrodt, a handsome theater producer who currently works for the Berlin opera and to whom Wainwright says, “I am very much hitched.”
