More Gay Celebrity Boyfriends!Richard Cullen (Partner of Darren Hayes) For years, Savage Garden frontman Darren Hayes, 36, was coy about his sexuality, but that all changed in 2006 when he married Cullen in London and later announced the event on his website. Since then, Hayes has become an outspoken advocate for marriage rights in his native Australia because Cullen, a Brit, can only enter the country on a guest visa. "It makes me angry and frustrated," Hayes told Australia’s Herald Sun. "I'm Australian and the way the law sits, I can't bring my partner home as my partner.”

Meanwhile, the couple also work together on Hayes’ creative projects, with Cullen designing the singer’s solo CD covers and producing and animating his films. They currently live in London.
Andrew Cowles (Partner of Stephen Gately) Cowles, an Internet businessman, was introduced to Gately, 32, one of the lead singers of the recently-reunited Irish boy band Boyzone, by none other than Elton John and his partner David Furnish. Shortly after meeting in 2003, they held a commitment ceremony while on vacation in Las Vegas. Three years later, they made it official, holding a much-publicized marriage in London.

I LOVED seeing the pics of the boys and their husbands/boyfriends/partners. And I am a total boy band whore b/c holy jesus that boy band couple was HOT!!! Not just the mayor of Berlin, the mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoe is also openly gay, as is the mayor of Hamburg Ole von Beust. And in contrast to Wowereit and Delanoe, who are members of the socialdemocratic party and socialist party, respectively - Ole von Beust is a member of the CDU (Christian Democratic Union), the German Conservatives. He was outed in a scandal, but got reelected anyway...
And about Delanoe - this sentence in his Wiki-Bio sounds promising "He is considered to be a potential candidate for President of the French Republic in 2012."

His infamous coming out phrase "Ich bin schwul und das ist gut so" (I'm gay and it's good that way; except "es ist gut" has a slightly deeper meaning in German, more along the lines of "Everything is in order/Everything is right in the world/it's ok";) is a catchphrase even for non-gay people.
I still remember his interview (on the subject of anti-gay mobbing particularly in schools) in the German Die Zeit (the times) where he said that now a few years later after his coming out, he didn't necessarily feel like things had gotten much different for gays in Germany, but he felt he had to do it, even if it would help just one you gay person growing up.
He's a truly charismatic politician and held in high esteem.

Tim Campbell is a cutie. Not sure about Anthony Callea; a bit short for my tastes. And I'm not really sure I would classify him as "enormously popular" here is Australia. I don't think any post-Idol person fits that description. I'm happy for them though.
I'm still surprised that Rufus is with someone. I love him, but he sounds a little high maintenance. I'm glad he found someone that can handle it.
He's not really a celebrity but what about writer Greg Berlanti? Does he have a boyfriend I'm only (shamelessly) asking because I saw a pic of him on your website the other day and he is hot. :D

I recall reading an interview ( Here on AE IIRC) where Greg does mention a BF. And it's not Luke Macfarland darn it... I think they would make a fantastic couple.. Speaking of Luke, I would be very surprised if he didn't have a BF... or at least dating someone. He talks about his love of Mountain Biking and the Cello, but wants to keep his other loves as private as he can. More power to him if he can keep it that way.

As for what constitutes "enormously popular", I guess it depends on one's perspective. Callea has quite a dedicated fan base that turns out in droves to see him in projects like the musical "Wicked" and the celebrity singing competition tv show "It Takes Two" during the last 2 seasons.

Anthony broke up with his former boyfriend about two years ago probably, I don't remember exactly though, and met a new boyfriend Campbell.
Anthony will release a new CD in December, I can't wait.

In our celebrity-obsessed culture, with PEOPLE magazine and all the rest shouting at us 24/7/365 about which straight celebrity is dating which, it's easy to forget how numbing and heteronormative it all is. THIS was so much fun - I completely reverted to my inner 7th grader, looking at the pictures, reading about who all these smiling and happy gay male couples are, and it made me really happy.
