The Gay People’s Choice Awards Winners!

Chuck & Larry, we now pronounce you the most disliked movie of the year. Given that you were competing against the vile Wild Hogs, that is really saying something.

Brothers & Sisters snagged the top spot, but Torchwood made a respectable showing. The popular write-in candidates were Heroes and Lost which is noteworthy given that Heroes degayed a character and Lost's lack of gay content.

No contest, it was Ugly Betty all the way — taking nearly half of the vote. Not much of a surprise given that the show features Marc St. James (Michael Urie), Justin (Mark Indelicato) and Marc's boyfriend Cliff (David Blue). Among the write-ins, the most popular were Pushing Daisies and Weeds.

Another landslide, this time for the out Bryan Fuller's Pushing Daisies which, if you're scoring, gives ABC favorite drama, favorite comedy, and favorite new show. No wonder the network garnered an A- when we graded all the major broadcast outlets.
