JS: He’s my number one fan. I wouldn’t even be talking to you today without his support and he’s kind of like the gardener and I’m the flower kind of thing because he –
AE: Aww.
JS: Especially when it started, I had no idea 12 months later that I’d be in this position and just having all kinds of opportunities, being called out of town and speaking engagements and spokesperson opportunities, and now this HGTV stuff. So he keeps me grounded.
Yesterday was a really long day, and there were all kinds of things going on at the final taping, and he was like, “Oh you can do this. This is nothing. This is a piece of cake." Where I’m thinking, “Oh my gosh, what am I gonna say next?” He’s a very grounding, supportive force. So I’m very blessed with his influence and presence especially through all this, because I think if I were on my own, depending on my own resources and stamina and sanity, that I don’t know if I would have made it this far.
AE: Wow, that’s great.
JS: He’s the number one supporter and fan and keeps me going in the right direction at all times.
