Stars and Their Gay Brothers! That said, Ingraham’s change of heart doesn’t mean she objects to or challenges most of the incredibly offensive anti-gay rhetoric said by callers to her radio show, nor does it means she’s developed any degree of sympathy for other sexual minorities; GLAAD named her as one of the top Anti-Gay Voices of 2008, in part for her anti-transgender rhetoric.
Like George Will and Charles Krauthammer on disabled issues, and like the Cheney family on gay issues, Ingraham seems to be yet another conservative who develops some small measure of understanding for an issue with which she has had personal experience, while remaining just as ignorant and judgmental in every other area of her life. David Jones (Brother of Catherine Zeta Jones)
"The only person who's now against gay weddings is my gay brother,” Tom Arnold told the World News Entertainment Network last year. “He said, 'Great. Now I'm going to be alone and broke like you.'”
Tom Arnold Arnold claims he has
always been comfortable around gay people — in part because he always knew that
Chris, one of his six siblings, was gay. Arnold told ContactMusic.com,
“We lived in Iowa and then I moved out to Los Angeles and kept talking to him,
I said, 'Chris just tell me. It's cool because I have a lot of gay friends.' He
wouldn't come out with it, and then one time he came to a set with a guy and
they had shorts on and the guy put his hand on my brother's leg and he didn't
take it off. I remember my heart sank even though I said, 'I'm hip, and I'm
cool.' It sank because I was scared that immediately people were going to be
mean to him back in our small town and his life was going to be harder.” Submitted by on Thu, 2009-01-29 00:13. |

Zeta-Jones’ gay brother David (who also
goes by Cameron) is an executive at the Initial Entertainment Group, which has
produced a number of Martin Scorsese films. Together, David and Catherine
planned to start producing films in Wales, where they were raised. The first
film, Coming Out, about a gay cabaret
singer who is suddenly expected to lead a rugby team to victory, was to star
Alan Cumming and Zeta-Jones, and was all set to film in 2005,
though financial problems have since delayed it, apparently indefinitely.

Great story! My only concern now is that suspect stars like Tom Cruise will start outing their sibblings, if only to take the heat off themselves:
"That's right--face the cameras, Raymond."
"The mountain has wings."
Anne Hathaway's speech was teriffic
Really cute!
Wow, the gay brothers are all really cute!
Have to give it to Scott Evans though.. He's just as hot as his brother! They must have some good genes in that family :)
Harvey Milk: You gotta give 'em hope.
Laura Ingraham's gay brother
Colin's brother weirds me
I know. Colin definitely
I know. Colin definitely got all the good looks in the family.
He sort of looks like Brendan Fraser
Like a weird blend of the looks of Colin Farrel, Brendan Fraser and Lance Bass.
Emboldened by our allies
As much as I am uplifted when a famous person comes out as gay, I am even more emboldened, oddly enough, when our straight allies speak up for us. I knew I loved Anne Hathaway and Colin Farrell for some reason. After all, their work includes "Brokeback Mountain" and "Home at the End of the World."
While I recognize that the LGBT community must fight vociferously for civil rights, I realize that without the cry of our allies we will never be able to drown out the screams of our enemies.

Next week: gay sisters!
Now I want to see stars who have gay sisters! We know about Newt Gingrich's half-sister Candace. And Cindy Lauper's sister...or is it cousin? Who else???
With a gay brother I find it shocking that Kevin Smith has made such ardently homophobic films.
What "ardently homophobic films" has Kevin Smith made?
And his most recent film...
Chasing Amy wasn't quite
I think you're missing the bigger picture
Smith used "f#ggot" throughout "Jay and Silent Bob"
Check it out:

Kevin Smith's film "Jay and Silent Bob" uses "f#ggot" in the script about 250 times.
I think he may now understand how dehumanizing that is now. At least I hope so.
Gay Brothers
This is a great article for it demonstrates that where there is acceptance there is a greater likelihood of advocating and rebuff of homophobia. Lets keep this going! What about gay sisters? Amongst our politicians who have gay brothers? etc.
Well done guys!
Loved this subject!!!
It was really interesting seeing all the family members who are not in the spotlight. I wonder how many other stars have gay family members who are not yet out to their family. In the years to come we may see more.
BTW Eamon Farrell does look "interesting" but cute. I think it is his big beautiful eyes that are immediately noticable that may be off putting for some people but he is cute and looks alot like Colin or is it the other way around since he is older. Anyway, that picture might not even be a good picture of his. There are a lot of people who take the occasional bad picture and sometimes it is due to the photographer.
