Chris Colfer Mourns Judy, and Jake Shears Undresses Backstage

OUT Magazine says the theme of their 2010 Out 100 Portfolio is “celebration.” They picked three pivotal cultural moments that shaped GLBT history and assigned each one to a single photographer. Then they asked various out celebrities to work with the photographers to recreate those three moments. 

Photographer Larry Fink took on Truman Capote’s legendary Black and White Ball. Meanwhile, The Stonewall Riots photos (including the gorgeous image above of Chris Colfer) were shot by Roger Erickson. Finally, a series inspired by Studio 54 were shot by Jason Schmidt. (The Scissor Sisters photo below is from that set.)
