What Can Jonathan Knight Expect Now That He's the New Gay Kid on the Block?

In all of the hubbub over the weekend about New Kids on The Block singer Jonathan Knight officially confirming that he's gay, one crucial element was glossed over. We totally owe his coming out to Mega Python vs. Gatoroid.

Just hear me out.

There was speculation for years that Jonathan was gay, but it wasn't until fellow 80's pop star Tiffany appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live and outed him that he decided to talk about it.

And why was Tiffany on WWHL? She was plugging the Syfy premiere of ... Mega Python vs. Gatoroid.

And to think I was mocked when I said that movie would be life-changing.

So what happens now? Will Jonathan continue to lead the very private life he's had the last couple of decades, or will he try to capitalize on the newfound interest surrounding him?

We wanted to reach out to other out former boyband members from around the world to provide advice and support for Jonathan, but then we decided "eh, we'll just make quotes up." But here is what we think they'd tell Jonathan if we'd actually bothered to ask them.

Congrats! Now I know why they used to call me the 'Jonathan Knight of "N*Sync.' All this time I thought it was because I also just stood there on stage and did nothing while the heartthrob, the twink, and the 'dangerous" one hogged the spotlight.. Seriously, has anyone ever really heard us sing? Well, there was that moment in "Step by Step" where you announced that step five was that the time has arrived. That was cool.

Oh, as for advice, I have only one thing to tell you, but it's the most important you'll ever hear - stay away from reality show winners!

Hey, Jonathan! Congratulations on coming out. We fell in love while in rival boy bands, and had to find ways to secretly see each other while avoiding the disapproval of our band mates. It was like Romeo and Juliet, but with less suicide and iambic pentameter and more AXE body spray and Autotune.

As for advice ... find another out boy band member and strike up a relationship. But not that Lance guy. He doesn't have a great track record.
