The Adorkable Matthew M. Brown

We're not ones to gush like schoolgirls over cute guys...

Oh, who are we kidding, of course we do. Still, you can hardly blame us when we come across a young gentleman as impressive as Matthew Michael Brown.

This 24-year old UC Berkeley grad now makes his home in San Diego where he's a gay rights activist and Mr. Gay San Diego 2010 winner.

Matthew is also a huge videogame fan, and that led him to apply for the second season of Sony Playstation's reality series The Tester where he competed as "Gaymer."

Matthew ultimately won that competition and now is employed by Playstation as a game testing analyist. Geeks that we are around here, we can't decide whether we want to date him... or be him.

Matthew recently was interviewed by Hunk du Jour and we especially liked the advice he had for GLBT youth:

"Well, I'm not going to give the overdone "it gets better" answer, though I would encourage everyone to watch my video. The truth is, coming to terms with sexuality is something we ALL do. Many LGBT people just have to deal with it later in life and often have less help along the way.

"Thankfully, the hard stuff passes and gives way to the most wonderful parts of life. It's just a step in the direction of finding love and fulfillment. Love is what we're all after in some form or another and this is just part of the necessary pain that gets us there."

On the pages that follow you'll find his charming bio video for The Tester as well as a number of great photos. Is this guy adorkable or what?

We heartily agree with his pick for hottest videogame character!
