Zach Wahls Appears on "The Last Word," Continues to Impress

Every so often a story comes along that instantly captures our hearts and finds its way into the so-called "mainstream" media.

It happened with Will Phillips, it happened with Fort Worth Councilman Joel Burns, and now it's happening with Iowa teen Zach Wahls.

Zach's impassioned speech to lawmakers in defense of his lesbian parents and marriage equality quickly went viral, and below you can see Zach with his two moms and his sister on last night's The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell.

His moms are justifiably proud. We need intelligent, well-spoken young people such as Zach on our side.
