Brett Every Music Video: A 40-Year-Old Man Meets his 20-Year-Old Self

Regular AfterElton.com readers know I'm single-handedly determined to propel out indie Australian singer-songwriter Brett Every into the musical stratosphere. I found his latest album, Menu, to be just as terrific as his first two.

But when he sent me the video for his latest single, "Man Walks into a Bar," it wasn't what I expected at all.

The song (which is one of my favorites on the album) tells the story of a 40-year-old man meeting his 20-year-old self in a bar. What do they have in common? And — this is the important stuff — how are they different?

I thought the video was pretty bold and unusual, not to mention pretty frickin' funny. (Brett told me he's a little embarrassed by his dancing toward the end, but I thought that was one of the best parts!)

What do you guys think?
