When it comes to pop culture, Ukrainians have long been overlooked in terms of hotness — primarily because any Ukrainians who walked around wearing less than a parka died instantly of hypothermia. Fortunately for us, the 21st century marks the rise of hot young Ukrainian celebs as more and more sexy Slavs have been discovered by Hollywood and the world.

In the words of the Ukrainian passenger on that infamous Seinfeld episode, “You not say Ukraine is weak!” With that in mind, we present you with a list of fourteen sexy Slavs who could keep anyone warm on those cold Siberian nights.

Maksim Chmerkovsky (aka Maks)

This Ukrainian Latin Ballroom dance champion, choreographer, instructor and dance-partner-with-a-temper-but-who-is-always-right on Dancing with the Stars is not only a crazy hot dancer and buff beyond belief. Maks, as he is known, is also the owner of four dance studios in the New York City area and earns bonus points for his work with the kids as one of the creators and directors of Dance Team USA. How glad are we that his stint on the Ukrainian version of The Bachelor did not result in true love?  

Gene Fedorenko

This gorgeous Ukrainian specimen was discovered while he was out to breakfast with his brother in the East Village, signed and rushed to castings. Talk about starting your day off right! He has done editorial for Arena Homme+, Dazed Digital and Vaga magazine, to name a few. He can also do parkour, which is kinda hot.

Sasha Cohen

Adorable little Ukie Sasha Cohen won a silver medal for the United States at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy. She’s been on a ton of reality shows, done photo shoots for a multitude of magazines and tours with Stars on Ice. Like every successful Ukrainian, she realizes the importance in giving back and is involved in many charitable organizations and her autobiography Fire On Ice is flying off the shelves.
