Watch: "Teen Wolf"'s Keahu Kahuanui Plays a Tough Guy, But He Doesn't Bite. Yet.

While there were plenty of reasons for AE readers to tune into MTV's Teen Wolf — ranging from some pretty great actors (hello, Crystal Reed and Dylan O'Brien!) to some zippy storytelling to most of the male cast spending more time shirtless than Olympic divers (hello, Tyler Hoechlin!) — no doubt some of the appeal was the out character of Danny, the best friend of Jackson (Colton Haynes). While we didn't see much of Danny in the first season, he did get a couple of nice moments including dancing with Scott (Tyler Posey) at one school event.

We also liked Danny because he was an out jock who was accepted by his classmates. AfterElton.com had the good fortune to run into Keahu Kahuanui, the actor who plays Danny, at last weekend's MTV Video Music Awards where we chatted with him about playing the part, the reaction of fans and what we might expect for Danny next year.
