Golden Globe Nominations Announced

This year's Golden Globe nominations were just announced. Glenn Close scored a best actress in a drama nod for her turn as a turn-of-the-century cross-dressing waiter. Meanwhile, Christopher Plummer was recognized for his role as a father who comes out late in life in Beginners. Meanwhile on the television front, both Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara got supporting nods for Modern Family and a few MVP's from our favorite freshman dramas were recognized. The great Jessica Lange got a best supporting actress nod for American Horror Story (the series itself was nominated for best drama). In the best actress category, Madeline Stowe got a nod for her great work on Revenge. Both actress nominations well deserved we think.
The 69th Annual Golden Globes ceremony will take place on January 15th and Ricky Gervais will again be hosting.
