"Trevor Live!" Talking to Darren Criss, Josh Duhamel and Dustin Lance Black and More!

The Trevor Project’s annual December event, Trevor Live, never disappoints and always seems to top the previous year’s show, and last night's event at the Hollywood Palladium was no exception.
With Special Guest Director Adam Shankman running the show as he did to much success last year, the 2½ hour production was fluid in pacing and had some big laughs (thanks to ‘Voice of God’ emcee Amy Poehler), more than a few tears and raised funds to keep the Trevor Project going strong. Also present to accept the Trevor Hero Award was Lady Gaga herself, who did not perform but accepted the award and made sure to praise the memory of Jamey Rodemeyer, the 14-year old Buffalo teen who committed suicide in September. The singer also said the Hero Award meant more to her than any Grammy and vowed to continue the fight to make bullying illegal.
Before Gaga’s climactic appearance, a slew of performances took place including Darren Criss belting out “It’s Not Unusual,” Miley Cyrus singing her hit, “The Climb,” NCIS:LA star Barrett Foa with The Warblers bringing a jazzed out version of “Jingle Bells,” Queen Latifah’s “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," a duet of "You're The Top" by marrieds Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka and a solo number by Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
Other notable performances included a show-stopping rendition of “O Holy Night” by American Idol Season 10 contestant Stefano Langone, LeAnn Rimes’ heartfelt “What I Cannot Change,” Glee star Amber Riley taking on Mariah Carey’s holiday classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and Mary J. Blige’s closing number, “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Presenters included newly out stars Amber Heard and Zachary Quinto, Amy Adams, Josh Duhamel, Fergie, Christina Applegate, Jane Lynch, Zoe Saldana, Ricki Lake, Will Arnett, Zac Efron, Michelle Pfeiffer, Rashida Jones and Glee hunks Harry Shum Jr, Kevin McHale and Mark Salling.
AfterElton.com was on the red carpet and grabbed a few minutes with a few of the attendees to talk about why The Trevor Project is needed now more than ever.
