Celebrity Twitterwatch: Alan Ritchson's Homo For Tebow, Harry Shum, Jr.'s Jammies, and Sam Huntington's Disappointing Facts About Werewolf Penis

Madonna never fails to get people talking.

Welcome to Celebrity Twitterwatch, where we take the soundbites from your favorite celebrities that didn't get vetted by their PR people and put them on display for you, our gentle readers. It's awards season, so expect the claws to come out.

Madonna has largely been out of the public eye for a few years, but with her movie W.E. premiering, a new album, and a Super Bowl half time show, she seems ready to take her rightful place as the center of pop culture. And her rightful place is generally regarded as having a bit of an attitude. Another 1980s cultural icon had little doubt that there was blood in the orchestra pit after they tried to play the Queen of Pop off the stage.

Granted, while she was on the stage I focused less on her words than on the way she chose to pronounce them. People have often speculated that Madonna was from a different planet, and now we know what their accent is on that planet, which is evidently the home of other Hollywood notables.

Bill Maher certainly shouldn't have worried that Ricky Gervais would fail to mention something about Madonna, even if he was a bit toned down for this year's ceremony. I have a feeling that a lot of stars felt as disappointed as I was watching at home, that he forgot to sharpen his claws.

Of course, the Golden Globes aren't the only awards show. The BAFTAs hosted their annual tea the same weekend, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson was disappointed a certain leggy blond wasn't in attendance. Frankly, if the party did turn to swimming without a bathing costume, I'd want to be sure attractive people like Cat Deeley were present as well.

And of course Joan Rivers couldn't let something like the first out contestants in Miss America pass without making a lazy lesbian joke.
