Battle of the Network Gays! It's Gary and Larry vs. Riley vs. Ian vs. Calvin!

Every week we're going to pick the gays who made the biggest splash on television and let you, the keepers of the flame, decide who will be crowned Gay of the Week. We'll announce the winner the following Monday, and that champion will reign until a new set of challengers are unveiled the following week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Gary and Larry Lane, Winter Wipeout

Having already conquered Fear Factor and Set for Life, out twins Garry and Larry Lane added Wipeout to their list of wins last week — and they won it handily. "Glary" and "Glary" (as host John Henson started calling them after not being able to tell the two apart) placed first in the qualifying round, were the first team to win a place in the finals and ran the final course so quickly their competitors barely had the chance to compete

However, the Lane twins aren't just a pair of athletic powerhouse siblings. They're filmmakers who plan on using their winnings to buy the rights to use the music of Dolly Parton in their film Full Circle , so we're bound to hear from them in the future.

Riley Stavros, Degrassi

When Riley's mother caught him kissing Zane, it looked like he wouldn't be able to avoid coming out to his parents. However, he was offered several chances to keep from having that discussion, thanks to his mother's repeated attempts to deny her son's sexual orientation. Still, despite the chance to stay closeted, Riley insisted that his mother face the truth. He hasn't been successful so far, but he's determined to change her mind and to avoid the path of least resistance.

Ian Gallagher, Shameless

Life continued to be interesting for the gay teen from the wrong side of Chicago's tracks as he pursued a relationship with Mickey, while losing interest in Kash. With his cold attitude towards Ian, Mickey is the opposite of Kash and Ian seems to be falling for the contrast. We're certainly intrigued by Ian's actions — is he just happy to find another gay teen? Falling for his first bad boy? We can't wait to find out, as Ian is quickly turning out to be one of the more complicated gay characters on TV.

Calvin Owens, Greek

Calvin began this season as President of Omega Chi but he quickly started drifting away from his frat brothers. It started when he was pressured into resigning as President, but reached a boil after Dale was humiliated in front of the entire student body at the Pledge Talent Show.

Seeing that Omega Chi was on the way to becoming a "cliche jerk fraternity," Calvin thought about quitting, but he was convinced to fight , and It turned out all it took was for someone to speak out to get others to voice their dissatisfaction and to get  Omega Chi back on track

Vote for your favorite by Midnight PST Sunday. Be sure to check back on Monday to see who you've picked as Gay of the Week!
