Battle of the Network Gays! It's Max vs. Brent vs. Kevin, Scotty and Saul vs. Cameron!

Every week we're going to pick the gays who made the biggest splash on television and let you, the keepers of the flame, decide who will be crowned Gay of the Week. We'll announce the winner the following Monday, and that champion will reign until a new set of challengers are unveiled the following week.
Here are this week's nominees:
Max, Happy Endings

This week we met a group of six friends that included a gay man, Max, an average Joe more interested in catching the game with the guys than discussing pop divas. Penny, however, got frustrated that Max wasn't the "gay husband" she wanted in her life, a man with whom she could discuss celebrity gossip and fashion. Max fixed that problem by finding her a guy who could go clothes shopping and dish with her about their friends' lives.
Having a "gay husband" convinced Penny that she appreciated having Max in her life, just the way he was. Meanwhile, Max told her that she was his "gay husband," and she had enough interest in fashion and gossip for the both of them. If this is any indication, this will be a very interesting friendship to follow.
Brent Ridge, The Fabulous Beekman Boys

Earlier this season we learned that Brent has never introduced his partner Josh to his conservative family, despite them being together for over a decade. He had the opportunity to change that recently, when a road trip had taken him near the town where most of his family lived, but he couldn't bring himself to risk their rejection.
This week Brent surprised Josh by revealing that heĀ told his grandmother about their relationship and let her get to know Josh by sending her one of his books. Brent followed that revelation by calling his grandmother so she and Josh could meet over the phone. We already saw how tough this was for Josh, making it an even sweeter moment for the couple.
Kevin Walker, Scotty Wandell, Saul Holden, Brothers & Sisters

It's been a busy week for the gay men of the Walker family. First, Kevin and Scotty were surprised by the arrival of Olivia's brother, who wanted to sue for custody of their adopted daughter, a battle they won due to the way the entire Walker clan embraced Olivia as part of the family.
Then came a series of events, including the death of Ida Holden, Justin hitting his 30th birthday and Scotty's mother making her first visit since Olivia became a part of the family. For Saul, his mother's death meant facing the fact that he never came out to her when he had a chance, something he dealt with when he delivered her eulogy.
Meanwhile, Kevin tried to help Justin face a landmark birthday as Justin found more and more reasons to question the direction of his life, all while trying to ease Mama Wandell's worries about not getting to know her new granddaughter.
Cameron Tucker, Modern Family

In the past two seasons, Modern Family fans have seen Mitchell roll his eyes and pick at Cameron's ideas. This week, Cameron finally confronted Mitchell about the lack of support, convincing his boyfriend to leave him alone as he worked on the school musical. In the end Cameron put on a disaster of a show that ended with the class declaring "We love the F word" to a theater full of parents, but he was allowed to fail on his own.
Vote for your favorite by Midnight PST Sunday. Be sure to check back on Monday to see who you've picked as Gay of the Week!
