Christian Bale

As if Christopher Nolan would have anyone else don that famous cape and cowl at this point. Bale has played everything from a Whitney Houston-loving killer in American Psycho to an inquisitive journalist in the queer fantasia Velvet Goldmine. Just don't walk into his shot if you know what's good for you.

Tom Hardy

This English actor is most recognized in the States from his role in another Nolan film, Inception, where he played the rakish (and ambiguously gay) Earnes. Chances are we'll see him buffed up a bit when he takes on the part of musclehead drug addict Bane.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Another Inception alumnus, JGL is known for his roles in 3rd Rock from the Sun, Mysterious Skin, and (500) Days of Summer, as well as his significant gay following. His exact role in Dark Knight Rises has yet to be officially confirmed, but sources say he'll play crime heir Alberto Falcone.
