As the World Turns (CBS) 2:00 PM EDT
While I've also been frustrated with the way Van Hansis gets only five minutes of screen time per week, today is promising to be a big day for Luke and Noah. At the very least, I'm expecting another powerhouse performance from Hansis, even if they continue to focus on the stories that get me reaching for the fast-forward button. You can also show your appreciation for Hansis' performance in a couple of fan surveys.
Indie Sex (IFC) 9:00 PM EDT
This IFC four-part documentary series takes a look at how sex has been depicted in independent cinema. There's a good amount of content to interest gay viewers including a look at how independent films have pushed boundaries of how sexuality is depicted in film. Tonight's ep focuses on censorship, with discussions of the outcry against Cruising and John Cameron Mitchell's groundbreaking Shortbus.
Top Chef (Bravo) 10:00 PM EDT
Ugh. Rocco DiSpirito is the guest guest judge on tonight's episode. I'm not sure if I've gotten over all the bad feelings inspired by two seasons of The Restaurant yet. I guess I'll just focus on the Ted Allen goodness.
