Brothers & SistersYour Gay of the Week: Scotty Wandell, "Brothers & Sisters"
Brothers & Sisters' Scotty Wandell (Luke Macfarlane) has managed to thwack the velvet crown off the head of reigning two-time Gay of the Week Noah Mayer (As the World Turns). In the closest heat yet in the battle for the most fabulous crown in television, Scotty barely sneaked past Mayer but left competitors Marc St. James (Ugly Betty) and Lance Bass (Dancing With the Stars) in the dust. To find out just how much dust, meet me after the jump! Submitted by on Mon, 2008-11-24 12:32. Battle of the Network Gays! for November 21st
Every Friday we pick the gays in television who have had the best week and leave it to you, the keepers of the flame, to decide who will be crowned Gay of the Week and enjoy their own fancy button over on the left. We'll announce the winner on Monday, and that champ will reign until a new set of challengers are introduced the following Friday to try to steal his title. Reigning Gay of the Week Noah Mayer (As the World Turns) didn't have much to do this week other than clean up his boyfriend's mess and serve coffee to college kids ... will it be enough to fortify his position against three new challengers? Meet the new contenders and find out why they rated this week, after the break! Submitted by on Fri, 2008-11-21 13:04. IMHO "Brothers & Sisters" Episode 308: “Going Once ... Going Twice” or Dinner and a show!
Last night's episode of Brothers & Sisters was probably the gayest of the season thus far and not only gave us plenty of Kevin and Scotty, but two Kevin and Scotty kisses. And that's only part of the reason I'm giving this week's episode an IMHO arrow up! Submitted by on Mon, 2008-11-17 12:31. IMHO "Brothers & Sisters" Episode 307: “Do You Believe in Magic?” I will if it makes Kitty disappear!
Last night's episode of Brothers & Sisters was the "Proposition 8" episode that was supposed to air the week before the election rather than the week after. Although, given how little it really had to say about Prop 8, I doubt the delay made much difference. And that's just part of the reason I'm giving the episode a side arrow. Find out why I didn't love it (and watch a clip) after the jump! Submitted by on Mon, 2008-11-10 15:31. "Brothers & Sisters" pics, episode 3.10: "Just a Sliver" or It's not Thanksgiving without someone nearly dying
ABC just released pics from episode 3.10 titled "Just a Sliver". This is the Thanksgiving episode that unfortunately airs the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Oops! As you can see from the above pic, the Walkers do gather for the holiday, but it's not at the Walker manse or a fine restaurant. To find out where they are dining and more importantly why, click through through the jump. But be warned! It's a little spoilery! Submitted by on Wed, 2008-11-05 16:04. "Brothers & Sisters"' Proposition 8 episode to air the week after the election. Uh-oh...
When I interviewed Brothers & Sisters' executive producers and showrunners Alison Schapker and Monica Owusu-Breen last September, one of the storylines they filled me in on was built around California's anti-gay Proposition 8, the fate of which is being decided today. Said Schapker at the time: “We are, as a show, addressing gay marriagespecifically with a storyline around Proposition 8." Those viewers who tuned into last Sunday night's episode expecting to see that storyline might have found themselves saying "WTF? I didn't see anything about gay marriage! Heck, I didn't even see Scotty!" So what happened to that episode? Learn the answer after the jump! Submitted by on Tue, 2008-11-04 11:15. "Brothers & Sisters" Episode 306: “Bakersfield”. Or as I call it, "Fight! Fight!"
Well, that was quite the episode. Nice to see that Kevin can give as good as he gets. And I've certainly wanted to strangle Tommy more than once. Of course, that's true of most of the Walkers!
Yes, I know a lot of folks were hoping for a Nora/Holly smackdown, but frankly, I thought it was nice to see a gay guy get to mix it up a little bit. Not that violence is ever the solution to sibling squabbles. But what was Rebecca thinking in inviting Kevin and Tommy to Justin's celebration? Oy vey! Naturally, Nora was her usual meddlesome self, Saul didn't have much to do except not go to Bakersfield, and Scotty was nowhere to be seen. Nowhere! Not okay! As usual Sally Field led the field as far as the acting went, but the Robert/Kitty storyline? Bleah.... But what did you think of Will McCormac, last seen playing sexually confused on Dirt? What I want to know is who he pissed off in the wardrobe department although he didn't look to bad in that towel. What did you think of the episode? Submitted by on Mon, 2008-11-03 02:01. Battle of the Network Gays! for October 31st
Every Friday we pick the gays in television who have had the best weeks, and leave it to you, the keepers of the flame, to decide who will be crowned Gay of the Week and enjoy the crown and their own fancy button over on the left. We'll announce the winner on Monday, and that champ will reign until a new set of challengers are introduced the following Friday to try to steal his title. For the past week, As the World Turns' plucky gay virgin Luke Snyder has been enjoying the crown ... but today three new players arise to challenge him. Meet them and make your choice, after the break! Submitted by on Fri, 2008-10-31 11:12. |
