Today on As the World Turns, Luke feels like he's being muscled out of his own boyfriend's life so Momma Lilly, tired of him sulking around the farm, suggests he come up with an excuse for he and Noah to be together. So Luke decides to don a director's hat and make a movie with the whole gang. Will it be a heartfelt, award-worthy documentary? Will Ameera demand top billing?

Today on As the World Turns, Noah and Luke send Ameera off to the ice cream shop with Casey so they can spend some quality time alone bouncing up and down on the old timey feather bed.

But just as the boys doff their shirts and open their mouths like guppies waiting to be fed, who should pound on the door but some anal retentive agent from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Will the boys be caught in a compromising position? (As if.)

Today on As the World Turns, Gwen (the one that looks like Haley Joel Osment in drag) and her stiff of a husband decide to leave town, thereby freeing up some prime Oakdale real estate. They throw a going away party for themselves, inviting Noah, Casey, Ameera & Luke to share in a wholly insufficient cold cut tray.

With their cottage soon to be vacant, they offer to sublet to Noah & Ameera. Will the faux spouses accept to throw the INS off their trail, and more importantly, will Luke continue to pester Casey about being his beard?

Today on As the World Turns, an INS agent starts nosing around the Snyder farm and discovers through a flustered Grandma Emma that Luke & Ameera have separate bedrooms.

Later, quick-thinking Luke has to pretend Casey is his boyfriend in order to throw that snoopy INS agent off the trail of Ameera & Noah. Just how far are Luke & Casey willing to take this charade?

Yesterday on As the World Turns, the storyline development we've all been dreading actually happens - Noah Mayer gets hitched to Ameera. Poor Luke is pressed into service as best man and even helps write the wedding vows.

This is a depressing development to be sure, but one can take solace in the fact that Noah only came up with the wedding idea on last Friday's show. With things moving at such a clip there's every chance they'll be divorced by next Monday.

If you're an immigrant, it's never a good thing when Homeland Security comes knocking at the door. And that's just what poor ol' plot contrivance Ameera faced today.

Turns out Ameera's name turned up on a terrorist list. I knew she never she should've logged on to Killthegreatsatan.com, but kids these days! Anywho, the Feds haul Ameera off and Nuke and Lily and Holden all pile into the Lovebug to go to her rescue. Even though it was all a mistake, she has to vamoose the U.S. ASAP. Unless...someone is willing to sponsor. The Snyders are willing, but the only one who can is a relative such as, oh, say, a spouse. But wherever will Ameera find a spouse on such notice? (Since she's straight, I think she head on over to eHarmony.com.)

Noah tells Luke he's going to marry Ameera to save her from going to Iraq (wait, hasn't he heard the "surge" is working brilliantly? Downtown Baghdad is practically like downtown Burbank now!) This causes Noah to chew his knuckle pensively as he ponders the Daytime Emmy Van is sure to win for this storyline. He suggests Noah is marrying Ameera to go back into the closet, but when Noah swears how much he loves Luke, all is forgiven and Luke agrees to go along with the plan.

Will Noah fall for Ameera? Will he make a Baghdad Baby with her? Will Luke and Noah ever kiss again? Are any of you still watching? Only time will tell! Here is the whole clip for amusement/frustration.

Today on As the World Turns, Luke is less than thrilled when Noah invites Ameera along on their date to the Oakdale U. student mixer slash sock hop. All Luke wants to do is get some private time with his boyfriend, so he's quick to foist Ameera off on the first frat boy who asks her to dance. But he's a little grabby for her taste — maybe she and Luke should switch partners.

Me, I'm thinking it hardly matters, because grabby or not, none of these people seem to have a lick of rythm. Their dancing reminds me of the shuffling zombies in Night of the Living Dead. But I digress.

Noah wants to babysit the little Baghdad wallflower, but Luke convinces him that the girl needs to learn how to take care of herself.

So who does she wind up dancing with next? Only ex-con Casey Hughes.

Luke & Noah sneak out into the alley for some heavily implied nookie - all conveniently off camera. (Still, the scene was kinda hot).

Then they are interrupted by homeland security agents! Boy, when Proctor & Gamble decides to keep these boys apart they really bring in the big guns.

Today on As the World Turns, Noah makes a speedy hospital recovery. What, was he admitted for like 30 minutes or something? Lilly and Holden suspect Ameera is in cahoots with Captain Pervy and somehow engineered the Aberzombie™ attack on the boys. They grill the little Iraqi waif in the hallway.

Ameera protests her innocence, and Lilly apologizes for jumping to conclusions. Then it's back to the farm where Little Miss Stormcloud is the recipient of today's lesson in tolerance. She learns that Luke and Noah were attacked because they're gay. "They beat them up because they love each other?" Asks LMS incredulously. "I hate them!" Oh, out of the mouths of babes.

Little Miss Stormcloud sulks a bit and then retreats to her room. At first I'm thinking it's to plot a few hate crimes of her own, but no, she's been doing research and thinks she has a way for Ameera to stay in the U.S.
