Gay Reality Roundup: "Big Brother 9" and "American Idol" Two-fer Tuesday

Wow, what a difference a week makes y'all! I come back from vacation to discover that Big Brother 9's homo-hamster Joshuah takes verbal cues from Jane Fonda and likes to use Amanda's Father's suicide against her. Real stand up, respectable behavior... way to represent! On top of all that, it was revealed that the pink streak in supposed straight boy James' hair might be due to his recently leaked gay porn past. Even worse, since Neil Garcia's sudden departure, the gay interest in this show has dropped significantly.

Many of us reality fans were doing pirouettes at the chance to finally see two gay men have a showmance on national television. We here at AfterElton.com wanted to cover it as much as possible but now that Joshuah is shacked up with Sharon and all BFF with the girl, the gay aspect of the show is less interesting.

That doesn't mean though that the show is boring. If you were to chart the number of screaming matches, house guest hookups, and naughty bits shown this season it far surpasses any other American version of Big Brother to date but I feel its come at a price.

While the show has always been kind of trashy and the bastard stepchild of reality shows it's been consistent in that there are major game players and minor characters. This season is the exact opposite, they cast for character, titilation, scandal, and horniness with little regard to playing the game.  That's annoying.

Tonight after the Power of Veto competition (which Joshuah and Sharon killed - btw) the house guests were given a glimpse of the happenings in the outside world. After learning that McCain and Obama are the new front runners, Joshuah was most excited to learn about that trainwreck Britney Spears. To be honest, I'd love to hear that juicy nugget myself if I was locked away for 3 weeks already.

Liveblogging Make Me a Supermodel (Episode 1.03): The Bondage Between Models

Welcome to Week 3 of the Make Me a Supermodel Liveblog! All week we've been teasing you with posts about Ronnie Kroell's superstar status and the very homoerotic coupling of Perry and Casey that will surely set tongues a waggin' tonight! Last week we learned that Perry likes to grab his crotch, that the art of being beautiful can get ugly when personal, and that Ronnie and Prison Ben are in a serious bromance.

Tonight we will find out if the show can continue to wet our appetite for flesh, if Ronnie will continue to dominate the competition or if he'll go all fetal at the possibility of Prison Ben being eliminated. It's sure to be a skintastic adventure so let's get ready for Week 3 of Make Me a Supermodel!

The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency Recap (Episode 3.07): Fur Flies and Tummies are Tucked

Previously on The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, we finally saw the full beauty of the crack addicted Ruffskin shoot and were treated to the sweetness that was J.P. Calderon's blind date with fellow gay model Rodrigo De Carli.

So far this season The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency has delivered some incredibly fun, incredibly nude, and incredibly gay themed episodes ... but sadly all good things have to come to an end. This week JDMA delivers its most humdrum episode to date, which is incredible given that part of the episode involves the models taking it all off to protest fur!

But before the hotties hit Hollywood Boulevard in the buff we have to check back in on poor timid Erika, who was last seen being berated and belittled by Jack Henry's Tia Browsh. (If you recall, newbie Erika was stiff and taking too long to get comfy in front of the camera and the client was getting testy.) In between clips of Tia telling Erika to be more "gangsta" Janice walks in the door and I fear for all parties involved. Thankfully, Janice's first instinct is to argue and we get some hysterical sound bites that are just pure JDMA genius...
